Best Practice Indicators Progress

During February and March, we have seen sustained effort from many CGCoPE stakeholder organisations to establish themselves on the BPI map. This isn't just a case of sending information into the dark, but the start of a business tool that will provide a valuable web-based procurement analysis to Scottish Government Procurement and Finance professionals.

 

Phase one of the Scottish Government Observatory is fast being populated with Efficiency, Spend and Contract data that is providing visibility of procurement spend, along with on-demand performance comparisons across all sectors as a service to individual in-scope organisations.

 

Our thanks go out to all organisations in the Central Government family who have invested their efforts in providing data and learning the input process. We look forward to hearing from the first users of the Observatory about their experiences using the analysis and reporting tools.
