CGCoPE online - a year on!

The CGCoPE website ethos has always been to bring information closer to its Central Government users. Over the last year we have tried to bring you the most relevant and up-to-date Central Government news and guidance and have been happy to see a consistent monthly increase of new users and page hits.
This month we are pleased to announce that CGCoPE online is about to pass the 100,000 page views mark, which is a great demonstration of the continued demand for online information
During the first year CGCoPE Online:
- Won the Government Opportunities, Gold Award, March 2008 for Website Functionality
- Was demonstrated as an example of 'Stakeholder Communication Best Practice' in York Consulting's review of S.P.D. Communications
- Had 12,502 visitors and 80,840 page views (Jan 08 - Jan 09)
We also:
- Redesigned our members area after conducting a stakeholder review
- Installed a Sub Contract opportunities page to aid supplier services
- Developed a new HTML e-newsletter
- Improved the performance and setup of our website to allow easier access to all computer platforms and systems.
Looking to the future, we are working to make further developments by incorporating Web Conference technology, Web 2.0 facilities and creating a more interactive workspace for all our visitors.
We would like to thank all our visitors who have contributed to our success in our first year. We look forward to bringing you more updates as we continue though our second.
