23rd April 2009
On Wednesday 11th March, the CGCoPE HR and Welfare Multi Supplier Roadshow was held at Victoria Quay, Edinburgh.
The aim of the event was to provide an overview of CGCoPE, and give Collaborative Partners an opportunity to meet with the suppliers of the seven contracts currently awarded:
· Temporary Staff
· Interim Managers
· Assessment Centres
· Recruitment Advertising
· Occupational Health Services
· Executive Search and Selection
· Employee Assistance Programme
The morning session began with an introduction from Fraser McCulloch, event co-ordinator, and followed with presentations from each of the Contract Managers. The purpose of the presentations was to highlight the benefits of the collaborative contracts for Collaborative Partners and address any key issues. Julie Gordon, Contract Manager for Temporary Staff Services and Recruitment Advertising, started the presentations; she then passed to Patricia Malloy who covered Interim Managers, Assessment Centres and Executive Search and Lynda Collin, Occupational Health Services and Employee Assistance Programme.

REC Information
After a networking lunch attended by all delegates, suppliers and CGCoPE members, the afternoon session commenced. A total of 17 suppliers across the 7 contracts were in attendance, and available for clinic style one to one meetings. The purpose of the afternoon session was to give Collaborative Partners the opportunity to meet with the suppliers on an informal basis; it also showcased what was on offer to them. Although meetings were booked in advance by delegates, a "drop-in" opportunity was
seized by most attendees.
Feedback from the Roadshow was very positive, as many attendees stated they found it valuable to be able to meet the suppliers in such a way.
Thank you to all who attended and contributed.. Feedback on the event has been very positive and supportive of CGCoPE's efforts. It was a great day, and we are pleased with the outcome.
