Call for nominations for the 2009 GO Awards

Do you work in procurement? Think you have what it takes to get up and GO?
Government Opportunities (GO) magazine is calling for nominations for the prestigious GO Awards Scotland 2009. The Awards aim to recognise excellence within procurement in Scotland, and the benefits to the wider business and social community that smart, effective and sustainable purchasing can deliver.
The 8 categories are:
- GO Sustainability Award
- GO Corporate Social Responsibility Award
- GO Healthcare Supplier Award
- GO Best Service Award
- GO / John F McClelland Collaborative Procurement Award
- GO Individual Excellence Award
- GO Team Excellence Award
- GO Outstanding Contribution Award
Last year, CGCoPE was a finalist in the John F McClelland Collaborative Procurement category. This year, we hope to see some our collaborative partners recognised for their valuable contribution to public sector procurement.
The deadline for submissions is 7 September 2009. The winners will be announced on 28 October at a ceremony to be held on the first evening of Procurex Scotland 2009 - Scotland's only national procurement conference.
