Launch of Contract Management Toolkits

CGCoPE have developed an innovative Contract Management Toolkit for contracts of all values, along with a Call-Off Toolkit for partners to use to access Framework Agreements.
The online Contract Management Toolkit includes templates and 'step-by-step' guidance to support end users and contract managers, from contract award to closure. We are currently trialing this toolkit in CGCoPE but hope that partner organisations will also find it useful. The Call-off Toolkit guides you through the process of accessing a CGCoPE framework agreement and running a mini competition to secure a call-off contract.
The key benefits of these toolkits include:
- Reduction in risks and issues due to appropriate and regular proactive contract management
- Realisation of estimated savings due to continuous monitoring of spend information
- Potential additional savings due to proactive contract management, including added value performance measures
- Ability to report using intelligent management information covering spend and performance
- Continuous improvement into each new procurement and contract management, due to robust lessons learned guidance and template covering process, systems and people
- Compliance with legislation through use of Mini Competition guidance and templates, and appropriate amendment and extension guidance and templates
We have visited several partner organisations to show them the toolkits and glean feedback. Comments so far have included:
