Helping you to forecast risk

Last year, CGCoPE purchased a subscription to the OneSource Business Browser to help Central Government organisations take a more proactive approach to managing risk in the supply chain. The web tool enables you to monitor key business critical suppliers, particularly important given the increased risk of supplier failure in the current economic climate.
Useful features of the tool include:
- Comprehensive company profiles, financials and ratio analysis, details of directors, executives and shareholders for over 2 million public and private UK registered companies
- Email alert functionality allowing up to 50 alerts to be set up per named user
- The ability to create 'one stop' reports
So far, over 4500 searches have been conducted by CGCoPE and partner organisations. We have received good feedback from licence users, such as procurement staff in the Scottish Prison Service who commented:

"Excellent service, I particularly like being able to create pdf report files from cherry-picked data on specific suppliers/potential suppliers and have sight of the corporate family - knowledge is power!"
Our current subscription is based on 20 licences which have been distributed across selected CGCoPE partner organisations. However, we would now like to offer other Central Government organisations the opportunity to access the OneSource Business Browser - via the pool of licensed users.
