Design, Print, Publishing and Associated Services (DPPAS) Framework Awarded

A multi-supplier Framework Agreement (FA) for the provision of Design, Print, Publishing and Associated Services (DPPAS) has been awarded by CGCoPE. The Framework will commence on 5 April 2010. The FA period is for two years with the option of extending for two further twelve month periods thereafter, at the sole discretion of Scottish Ministers. The Framework has six 'Lots' as detailed below. The Contractors appointed to the Framework are as follows:

The FA is open to the Scottish Government, Associated Agencies, Non-Departmental Public Bodies, the Scotland Office, the Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body, Student Loans Company, Special Health Boards, the Forestry Commission, Business Stream Ltd. and the Scottish Futures Trust.

There are many benefits of using the framework including:

• Value for money - potential for significant savings to be realised through use of the Framework
• Wider range of service providers
• Wider use of SMEs (17 of the Contractors are SMEs, 15 of which are Scottish)
• Contractors were able to demonstrate a commitment to Scottish Ministers sustainability objectives
